Today’s blog content is about ways on how to care for creation inside and out of Assumption Iloilo.
In Assumption Iloilo we have this project called “ecobrick”. In this project we collect plastics and we cut them into pieces and put them inside a 500ml water bottle. If you want them bigger then you can just change the size of the bottle. You can use this ecobrick to build walls or other things, just make sure that the bottle is strong enough to support what you want to build. Down below is an example of an ecobrick and what you can make using it.
In Assumption we also have a “bottle’s only” trash bin which is kind of unique because it is like a basketball ring. At some point it also encourages learners to throw their water bottles there because it is also fun.

Recently, we had a field trip in ajuy and we did mangrove planting. When you plant mangroves it is also a way of caring for creation. Here are some pics I got of the mangroves and me planting one.
I hope you enjoyed and learned something new by reading my blog. Together let us start caring for creation in our own little ways.
